Auto Detailing Associate (No Prior Experience)

Job Summary
Join Apex Mobile Shine as an Auto Detailing Associate and learn the art of premium mobile auto care. You’ll receive hands-on training in our signature processes—from wash and wax to interior shampooing—while traveling to customer locations around Honolulu. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow in a service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain detailing equipment, chemicals, and vehicle protection setups
- Perform exterior washes, paint decontamination, waxing, and sealant applications under supervision
- Vacuum, shampoo, and condition interior surfaces, including carpets, upholstery, and trim
- Follow company checklists to ensure consistency and quality on every vehicle
- Assist senior team members with clay bar treatments, polishing, and ceramic or specialty coatings
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable working outdoors in Hawaii’s climate and lifting up to 50 lbs
Skills & Attributes
- Reliable time management; punctuality is critical for mobile service

- Physically fit: able to kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods

- Basic familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols (training provided)

Working Conditions
You’ll spend most days on the road servicing customer vehicles at residential and commercial locations. Work shifts typically run 8–10 hours with occasional weekend or evening appointments. Safety gear and detailed protocols keep you protected from chemicals and weather exposure.
