Job Summary​

Join Apex Mobile Shine as an Auto Detailing Associate and learn the art of premium mobile auto care. You’ll receive hands-on training in our signature processes—from wash and wax to interior shampooing—while traveling to customer locations around Honolulu. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow in a service-driven environment.  

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform exterior washes, hand waxing, tire dressing, and glass cleaning

• Deep-clean vehicle interiors including upholstery, carpets, dashboard, and vents

• Apply paint sealants and protective coatings under supervision

• Document pre-existing vehicle conditions before service

• Maintain and organize detailing supplies and equipment

• Deliver friendly, professional client interactions at every appointment

 

Qualifications

• Valid Hawaiʻi driver's license and clean driving record

• Reliable transportation to designated meeting point

• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina

• Customer-friendly attitude and punctuality

• No detailing experience required — full paid training provided

 

Skills & Attributes

- Reliable time management; punctuality is critical for mobile service  
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and teammates  
- Physically fit: able to kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods  
- Openness to feedback and continuous improvement  
- Basic familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols (training provided)

Working Conditions

You’ll spend most days on the road servicing customer vehicles at residential and commercial locations. Work shifts typically run 8hours with occasional weekend or evening appointments. Safety gear and detailed protocols keep you protected from chemicals and weather exposure.
